The project aims to collect biological, ecological data of Cnemaspis muria in Mount Muria, which has been lacking since it was described as the basis for further research and monitoring programs. The objectives of this project are: 1) To collect baseline biological information including behaviour and the population of Cnemaspis muria, 2) To provide a current distribution map and assess habitat suitability modelling of Cnemaspis muria, 3) to determine major threats of Cnemaspis muria and 4) to increase local communities awareness of reptile and biodiversity conservation issues.
