We actively searched for new locations and a map was created to show their home range. Using the presence locations their predicted distribution was modeled.

We study the water quality, temperature, humidity and rainfall changes and identify their habitat requirements.

Important observations were made on their behavior and life history. For the first time we were able to record their call. No one has seen their tadpoles, during our study we located several tadpoles which are unique from all other species found in Sri Lanka.

Several activities were conducted towards their conservation and we now disseminating findings.
