The ultimate goal of the project is to ensure the survival of the fishing cat in the project site. However, the immediate and specific objectives are: 1. To inform and unite the local fishing communities and local stakeholders of the project site 2. To map the fishing cats' known historical and current distribution and all the fishing cat habitats in the project site 3. To create a fishing cat conservation committee 4. To prepare the next generations of fishing cat conservation 5. To raise awareness about the fishing cat.
