The objectives of our project are: 

Assessment the extant populations with communitary participation

Evaluate the composition and structure of the habitat where the species lives

Delimitate potential areas to establish communitary natural reserves where the species lives

 

For this, we're going to do the next activities:

 

Determine the abundance of the species to increase the knowledge about the population state of the species

Evaluate the composition and structure of the habitat and microhabitat conditions where the species lives 

Identify main threats in the area of study to reduce their impacts and protect the species

Conduct environmental education workshops to promote the participation of the locals and increase the knowledge about their territories

Delimitate potential areas to establish community natural reserves where the species lives 

Prepare the report for the Colombian environmental authorities
