The project is to Assess the distribution of G. opilionoides in the south Cameroun rainforests; Ascertain the micro-habits of the species, and examine the life cycle of the species in the southern Cameroun, in order to recreate the necessary conditions for the proliferation of the species in the southern Cameroon; Raise awareness among NGOs members, reserve managers and villagers around the forests against the illegal and abusive exploitation of forest resources; assess the conservation status of G. opilionoides using the IUCN Red List criteria, and share our results to the NGOs and researchers to foster other works for the protection of the species.
