1. To carryout a presence/absence survey of Indian Pangolin in the unprotected human-dominated landscapes of Northern Eastern Ghats of Andhra Pradesh to identify critical habitat patches. 2. To understand and address local perceptions (false beliefs and superstitions driving the pangolin trade regionally) of rural communities living alongside the pangolin habitat. 3. Identufy human-induced threats to the habitat of the species in the region. 4. Build local capacity on various aspects of pangolin conservation among all major stakeholders in the project area. 5. Design and develop thought-provoking infographics for awareness among school and college students on the current plight of Indian Pangolin.
