Improving the knowledge of Sardinian grass snake (Natrix natrix cetti)

The Biogeography department of Trier University focus its studies on distribution of species. One of the main scopes of the department is to contribute in a better execution of wildlife conservation actions. The Museum of Natural History of University of Florence, with ten million specimens and more than four centuries of history, is the most important Italian naturalistic museum and one of the largest internationally. All collections are actively studied, preserved and enhanced in order to convey the extraordinary legacy of scientific and historical knowledge that represents the true value of a museum institution.
