The study has been designed taking into consideration of following aims and objectives: 1. To investigate the hitherto unknown host-plant association and other ecological aspects of this butterfly through extensive field survey and controlled experimental activities. 2. Molecular characterization based on the mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase 1 gene for proper identification, future works, and ecological assessment. 2. Understanding the potential threats on this butterfly to design further conservation action plans. 4. Awareness building through school campaigns, and providing the school children with leaflets containing message to conserve the biodiversity.
