Generating knowledge to assist conservation actions for the southernmost population of the Chacoan peccary (Catagonus wagneri)
Objectives of the project:
1) To determine the distributional range of the Chacoan peccary in Central Argentina
2) To asses isolation and variability in the population of Córdoba and La Rioja provinces
3) To arranging new protected areas in La Rioja province
4) To publish the results of the project plus some unpublished results of the previous project (a distribution model considering Climate Chagne and land-use change, and new presence localities in Central Argentina) in scientific journals
