This project ensures the operations of the first Red Siskin Conservation Center during the difficult times imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic and the socioeconomic crisis in Venezuela. The Center secures birds rescued from trafficking and surrendered by breeders, to start captive breeding for reintroduction.

In order to save the Tahiti monarch from of Little Fire Ant, we are trying drone applications (in forest) and ultradiluted fipronil (in houses). 175 on 179 house were negative in 2021 and the eradication in a 17 ha cliff was confirmed 3 years after - in 2021 we successfully treated 48 ha of forest with 4 drone applications (3 mega LFA colonies).
